Credit CardRates

The Advanta Platinum with Rewards Card is a card with a 0% Intro APR and a variety of rewards options for you to choose from based on what's best for your business (Cash Back or Travel Rewards).

Balance Transfers: ABC will transfer full or partial balances from other business accounts, in amounts up to $250 less than the amount of your total available ABC credit line, to your account, after it is approved, by processing your requests, in full or in part, in the order indicated. These transfer payments by ABC are the only "balance transfers" to which ABC's balance transfer account rates, including promotional and introductory rates, apply. ABC determines your credit line as part of its application underwriting process, and that credit line may not be sufficient to accommodate all the balance transfers you request. You should continue making payments on those other accounts until ABC's transfer payments appear as credits on your other account statements. ABC cannot transfer balances from non-business accounts, and cannot close any accounts from which you have requested Balance Transfers, even if a requested transfer reduces an account balance to zero. To close such an account, you must contact the lender who maintains that other account. See "Summary of Important Advanta Business Card Terms and Conditions" for any applicable fees.

Cash Back Reward Program Rules

  1. There is no limit to the amount of Cash Back rewards that can be earned. Cash Back rewards earned for the current month are shown on account billing statements.

  2. Cash Back rewards are earned on Net Purchases only, which means purchases of goods and services made for business purposes with the Advanta BusinessCard while the account is in good standing by the Signing Individual or any authorized user of the account, net of any returns and credits. Net Purchases does not include, and rewards are not earned on, cash advances, balance transfers, convenience checks, fees, finance charges, adjustments, or any other transactions or charges.

  3. Cash Back rewards are paid by check (to the order of the Signing Individual) and are generated and mailed following any billing cycle in which unpaid earned rewards reach $50. Rewards are not available in the form of reductions in the amount of any account payments due.

  4. Cash Back rewards are earned based on your annual level of Net Purchases, excluding purchases in the Bonus categories, as follows: .25% on up to $3,000 in purchases; .50% on purchases between $3,000.01 and $5,000; .75% on purchases between $5,000.01 and $15,000; and 1% on purchases in excess of $15,000.

    Cash Back rewards are also earned on the Bonus categories of "gasoline and diesel fuel," "computers, computer supplies, electronics and office supplies," "online advertising services," and "utilities and telecommunications." Cash Back rewards on Bonus category qualifying purchases are earned as follows: 5% on up to $1,200 in purchases; 1% on purchases in excess of $1,200.

    Qualifying purchases are Net Purchases that 1) are made at retail establishments which for "gasoline and diesel fuel" are classified as gas stations that process the transactions as fuel purchases; for "computers, computer supplies, electronics and office supplies" are classified as computer, computer peripheral equipment and software distributors, electronics stores, computer software stores, or office supply stores; for "online advertising services" are classified as pay-per-click online advertising service providers and web hosting providers; for "utilities and telecommunications" are classified as utility or computer network service providers; and 2) are communicated by merchants to Advanta using appropriate merchant category and transaction codes. Important Note: Mail, telephone, catalog, and some Internet purchases, and purchases made indirectly through intermediaries, may not qualify; merchants may classify these transactions differently.

  5. To earn and receive Cash Back rewards, an account must be open and in good standing. No rewards are earned on transactions made during any billing cycle for which the monthly payment is not paid as agreed or in which the account is over its credit limit or otherwise in default. If the account is voluntarily or involuntarily closed, no disbursement is made of any earned rewards. If the account status is never returned to good standing, any earned rewards are forfeited.

  6. Advanta assumes no tax liability for Cash Back rewards earned or paid on any account; consult a tax advisor.

  7. Cash Back rewards earned on additional/supplemental card transactions are credited to the Signing Individual's account and paid to the Signing Individual.

  8. These Advanta Cash Back Program Rules and features are not provisions of any Advanta Business Card Account Agreement, and Advanta reserves the right to change or discontinue this Advanta Cash Back program or any of its features, or to change any of these Cash Back Program Rules, at any time without notice. The Advanta Cash Back program is void where prohibited by law.


Advanta Business Rewards Program Rules


Point Accumulation

A Cardmember will earn one point for each $1 in Net Purchases charged on his/her Advanta BusinessCard account. If a Cardmember has a co-brand card, the Cardmember will earn one and a half points for each $1 of Net Purchases of products and services from the Cardmember's co-brand organization and one point for each $1 of Net Purchases of products and services from other vendors and merchants. The co-brand organization's products and services include only products and services sold by the specific entity that is displayed by name on the Cardmember's Advanta BusinessCard. Net Purchases means purchases of goods and services made for business purposes with the Advanta BusinessCard while the account is in good standing by the Signing Individual or any authorized user of the account, net of any returns and credits. Net Purchases do not include, and points are not earned on, cash advances, balance transfers, convenience checks, fees, finance charges, adjustments, or any other non-purchase transactions or charges. Any questions regarding the eligibility of a purchase will be resolved at the sole discretion of Advanta.

There is no limit to the number of points a Cardmember can earn. For accounts with multiple cards, all points are earned on the Signing Individual's account. Points are not transferable, have no cash value or partial or residual value, and cannot be combined. Points will be administered according to the program rules established and interpreted by Advanta and the Program Administrator. Point balance information is shown on the Cardmember's monthly billing statement or is available by logging onto the Advanta Business Rewards Center at www.advanta.com. No points are earned on transactions made during any billing cycle for which the monthly payment is not paid as agreed or in which the account is over its credit limit or otherwise in default. Points expire 36 months after they are earned.


Point Redemption

To redeem points, a Cardmember's account must be open and in good standing. Points are redeemed on a first-in, first-out basis. For accounts with multiple cards, only the Signing Individual may redeem points on the account.

To redeem points for certificates and merchandise, Cardmembers can either log onto www.advanta.com or call Advanta Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-705-7255. For travel-related redemptions, Cardmembers must contact Advanta Customer Service.

Points are not redeemable for cash, cannot be exchanged or returned for cash, do not constitute credits to the Cardmember's account, and cannot be used to offset the Cardmember's obligations to Advanta or otherwise. For airline travel rewards, which includes free tickets and airfare discounts, a redemption fee of $15 per ticket will be charged to the Cardmember's Advanta BusinessCard account at the time of redemption.

Travel

Free roundtrip coach and value capped airline tickets require a minimum 21-day advance purchase and Saturday night stay. There are no blackout dates, no open jaws, no circle trips, and no stopovers are allowed. A maximum 30-day stay is permitted. All airline rules and restrictions apply. Free roundtrip coach airline tickets are restricted to limited booking class of service and fare basis, subject to availability and restricted to select air carriers.

The following terms and conditions apply to all free roundtrip tickets and travel discounts. There are no blackout dates. Once the reservations are made, all rewards are non-refundable and non-transferable. A minimum $100 per ticket change/cancel fee applies to domestic reservations and a minimum $200 per ticket change/cancel fee applies to international reservations. Cardmembers are also responsible for any fare increases or changes. A per ticket reissue fee applies to any reservations that request a change of itinerary. All tickets are issued as electronic tickets unless e-tickets are not available. An additional fee of a minimum $50 per ticket applies if an e-ticket can be issued but a paper ticket is requested. All paper tickets require a minimum $13 shipping/handling charge. Reward levels are non-combinable and cannot be combined with any other coupon or discount (one redemption allowed per ticket). Prices include all taxes and fees for tickets purchased using points. The Cardmember may supplement a travel discount or value cap ticket with additional funds. All returns and exchanges should be handled directly with the issuing airline. Advanta Customer Service can be consulted when special circumstances arise. All tickets must be issued at the time of booking and reservations will not be held. Travel documents should be accessed via the Internet at www.qrt.bz. However, in the event the Internet is not available, a copy of the travel itinerary can be faxed or mailed. All travel must be booked through Quality Reward Travel (QRT). Internet/web fares, charter fares and consolidator fares do not apply. Neither Advanta, the Program Administrator, nor QRT is responsible for communication of airline schedule changes. Cardmembers should reconfirm flight reservations directly with the airline for domestic and international travel reservations 24 hours prior to departure. Cardmembers should have valid photo ID for airport check-in. Additional ID may be required for travel outside the United States and is the Cardmember's responsibility. Additional rules and restrictions may apply.

The following terms and conditions apply to destination travel packages. Blackout dates for 2007 include January 1-4, January 12-17, February 16-20, April 5-10, May 24-29, July 1-5, September 1-5, November 18-26 and December 15-31. Space is subject to availability. Trips may require a Saturday night stay. A minimum 60-day advance booking notice applies. All packages are subject to change/cancel penalties by QRT and package vendors. QRT reserves the right to substitute vendors without notice, based upon availability (vendors will only be substituted if package price falls within allotted budget). All returns and exchanges must be handled directly with QRT. Advanta Customer Service can be consulted when special circumstances arise. Travel packages are valid through December 15, 2007.

The following terms and conditions apply to all travel rewards. Travel returns for point credits are not accepted. Awards cannot be redeemed for cash and have no cash value. The Cardmember is responsible for all airline-related fees, facility charges, segment fees, ticketing, taxes, customs, baggage, security, fuel surcharges and other government imposed fees; and any expedites, special requests and exceptions. All fees are payable at time of redemption. Lost, stolen or expired tickets cannot be replaced. Any airline tickets not redeemed by points are subject to all QRT issuance fees and restrictions.

Neither Advanta, the Program Administrator, nor QRT is responsible for the performance of airlines or any provider of service, including but not limited to delivery, bankruptcy, changes, etc., for any service under this program. In the event that an airline ceases flying and tickets sold for future travel are not picked up and honored by other airlines, the tickets will not be refunded by Advanta, the Program Administrator or QRT and there will be no Advanta reward point credits. All reservations are made subject to the conditions of carriage, supply or business of the party providing the service, which include exclusions and limitations of liability. All documentation, receipts and tickets issued are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers. All airline rules and restrictions apply.

Merchandise

The Program Administrator is not responsible for, and does not represent, rewards products or providers. Any applicable manufacturers' warranty will be included with the order. Actual products may vary from pictures and descriptions due to printing variations and/or manufacturers' updates.

Trek Recreational Hybrid Bicycle — Upon receipt of a bicycle order, the distributor, Zane's Cycles, will send the Cardmember a letter confirming the order and requesting information about the user's height and inseam. Cardmembers may respond via phone (phone number is specified in the letter) or return mail. Once Zane's Cycles receives this information, a representative will determine the proper frame size, and the bicycle will be shipped immediately. Assembly required.

Bonus Cards

Advanta Bonus MasterCard® Gift Cards are not transferable and cannot be returned. Cardmembers may order Bonus Cards for themselves and/or for other persons. At the time of redemption, Cardmembers must specify the name of each such other person so that person's name can be correctly embossed onto the Bonus Card. Multiple recipients require multiple redemption orders. Bonus Cards are good for purchases for one year from the date of issue and are limited to the balance of prepaid funds available in the Bonus Card account. There is no fee to activate the Bonus Card. However, if a Cardmember does not use the entire Bonus Card within 6 months, a Monthly Maintenance Fee of $4.95 per month beginning on the 7th month from the day of purchase will be applied to the remaining balance as permitted by law. Bonus Cards cannot be used for withdrawals of cash or for any other non-purchase transaction. Upon any purchase made using the Bonus Card, the available balance is reduced by the amount of such purchase. Bonus Cards are not reloadable. The Cardmember is responsible for resolving all disputes concerning the quality of purchased goods or services with the merchant that accepts the Bonus Card. Bonus Cards can be ordered through www.advanta.com and are issued by BankFirst, Sioux Falls, SD; Member FDIC. BankFirst is not affiliated in any way with Advanta Bank Corp. and does not endorse or sponsor Advanta Business Rewards.

Online Only Catalog Items

Throughout the year, additional redemption items are added to the online rewards catalog as Online Only items. Please see the online catalog for the most up-to-date list of redemption opportunities. Online Only items can be redeemed online and through customer service. Any new program rules associated with Online Only items are found in the online version of the Program Rules.

Shipping and Delivery

Merchandise, Advanta Bonus MasterCard® Gift Card, and Gift Certificate/Card redemptions include applicable sales tax and shipping/handling. Shipping of rewards items is only available within the 50 U.S. states, cannot be delivered to a PO Box, FPO or APO address, and may require a signature. (Note: Bonus Cards and Gift Certificates/Cards, but not other rewards items, can be shipped to a PO Box.) Delivery of rewards items will be made by ground delivery service or first-class mail to the address designated by the Cardmember and may require up to six weeks or longer for larger items. Merchandise to Alaska and Hawaii is shipped via UPS 2-day air. Reasonable delivery times and guidelines apply at the discretion of the Program Administrator.

Shipping to an alternate address at the time of redemption is permitted. However, a destination telephone number at the time of placing the order is required. Cardmembers may also expedite the shipping on all rewards items, except Bonus Cards and drop ship merchandise. Expediting costs are the responsibility of the Cardmember and must be paid by the Cardmember at redemption.

For merchandise redemptions consisting of multiple items, partial orders ship as merchandise becomes available. Cardmembers must accept delivery as items become available. Cardmembers are notified of any delays in delivery. If an item is discontinued or otherwise unavailable, a different item of equal or greater value may be substituted.
Rewards items are not returnable unless merchandise is damaged or defective upon delivery. Cardmembers may return damaged or defective merchandise within 30 days of receipt. Cardmember must retain all packaging materials and report damages to Advanta within 24 hours. The item will be exchanged or Cardmember will receive a rewards account credit for the rewards value of the merchandise returned. On defective/damaged returns requested later than 30 days from receipt, the Cardmember is responsible for contacting the manufacturer directly regarding returns/warranties. To return a merchandise item, Cardmembers should call Advanta Customer Service at 1-800-705-7255 for complete instructions.

General

Business Rewards Program membership is automatically renewed each year at the terms and fees then in effect, unless Cardmember notifies Advanta of cancellation. Eligibility is restricted to Advanta Business Rewards Cardmembers whose accounts are in good standing. No points are earned, and no points may be redeemed for rewards, at any time when the account is not open and in good standing. If account status is never restored to good standing, any accrued unredeemed points are forfeited. If an account is closed by a Cardmember or by Advanta, the Cardmember is no longer able to redeem points and any accrued unredeemed points are forfeited.

Advanta Business Rewards selections are subject to change and to availability. Advanta or the Program Administrator may discontinue selections or make substitutions of equal or greater value without advance notice. Cardmembers are responsible for any fees, charges and any tax liability related to participation in the Program as a result of points earned and/or redeemed.

In the event of fraud or abuse of Program privileges or violation of Program Rules (including any attempt to sell, exchange or otherwise transfer points or any instrument exchangeable for Advanta Business Rewards), Advanta and the Program Administrator reserve the right to cancel membership in the Business Rewards Program.

All rewards items are provided by third parties who are responsible for the items supplied. By redeeming points, the Cardmember releases Advanta and the Program Administrator from any and all liability regarding the redemption of points and regarding any product or services for which they are redeemed. These Program Rules replace and supersede all previous rewards rules, catalogs and brochures and are subject to change without notice.

The Advanta Business Rewards Program is void where prohibited by law. The Advanta Business Rewards Program is offered at the sole discretion of Advanta, who reserves the right to change or discontinue any Program feature at any time. Every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate, but neither the Program Administrator nor Advanta nor any other entity or person associated with the Business Rewards Program shall have any liability arising from, or related to, the Program.
